Day 01: Collected from the airport in Bogota or any other location within Bogota and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day free to explore the city. Option to do Monseratte in the afternoon depending on arrvial time.

Day 02: After breakfast, the client will have the best introduction to Bogota’s downtown, where they will be taken back in time from indigenous times until the arrival of the Spaniards looking to establish a new civilization. An insightful, fun-filled and informative walk about history, gastronomy, architecture, places to go, cultural offer and what “Bogotanos” actually like. After lunch, the client will also have the option to venture on to the second tour of the day. Colombia, known as one of the happiest countries on earth, has been affected globally by its bad reputation for various negative situations such as being a huge drug producer, assassinations of political leaders, and violent conflicts between different armed groups. Today, while on this tour, the client will understand the causes, the development, and the present days’ Colombian conflict. Returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 03: Collected from the hotel at 8:30 am. Transfer to the first stop in Zipaquira, Salt Cathedral and entrance included. Afterward traveling to Chiquinquira and visit the famous cathedral. The trip will then go to Raquira to view the beautiful buildings and typical art, know for its high quality and its artisanal abundance. A clay workshop will also take place this day, the clients will have the opportunity to learn about the process and the art and interacting with the locals. Afterward arriving in Villa de Leyva, a town of cultural heritage, colonial architecture surrounded by mountains, deserts and containing the biggest plaza in Colombia.

Day 04: Morning free to explore Villa de Leyva. In the afternoon leaving Villa de Leyva for a trip back to Bogota. On the way back visiting some of the popular locations along the way such as the Museo el Fossil, the Santa Eccehomo Monestry and el Infiernito.Also visiting Tunja, the capital of the department and once the capital of the country. We will also visit the boyaca bridge, which is a world heritage site in Colombia. Returning back to the hotel in Bogota. Evening option for a trip to San Andres Carne de res for a typical night out in Colombia!

Day 05: Morning free. Afternoon transfer to the airport, end of services.
