ITINERARY - MEDELLIN/JARDIN/GUATAPE

 

Day 01: Arriving into Medellin. Arrive at any time (we can help recommend flights) and transfer back to the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and settle in with the opportunity to wander and explore your new exotic surroundings.

 

 

Housing: Hotel du parc royal or similar – Meals: B (depending on arrival time)

 

 

Day 02: Collected in the morning for a tour of the city. This is a 4-hour tour which combines a mix of traditional locations like Botero Square, Downtown, Typical Markets, City Hills, Museums, Pueblito Paisa, Metro System, Historical Sites, Local Food Restaurants and unique places at the communities like the famous “comuna 13”, where you will have the chance to interact with the friendly locals and real city life.

Day 03: Private transfer from the hotel to the rural Antioquian town of Jardin to experience local ‘Paisa’ culture at its most authentic. After the scenic transfer from Medellin, you will check into the hotel before spending the afternoon visiting a local coffee finca. Here you’ll enjoy a home cooked lunch, witness the coffee making process, learn about life as a coffee farmer and taste some of the freshest coffee in your life!

Day 04: Today get active and reconnect with nature! In the morning you will be hiking the lush Andes mountains surrounding Jardin, stopping off to enjoy the plentiful waterfalls and breathtaking scenery along the way. Afternoon at your leisure or you can select from a number of activities such as horse-riding, mountain biking, hangliding, or simply enjoying the charismatic town.

Day 05; Heading back to Medellin after breakfast and afternoon free to explore.

Day 06; Collected from the hotel for a trip to Guatape. This is a beautiful town set on a lake around 2 hours from Medellin. The first stop will be at one of the area's top attractions, Peñol Rock (La Piedra del Peñol). There, you'll have the opportunity to climb more than 700 stairs to reach the top of this popular landmark and enjoy sweeping vistas of Guatape Lake and the surrounding mountains. The client will then go into Guatape for lunch, before checking into the beautiful lodge house for the night. Afternoon free to enjoy the surrounding.

Day 07: Collected from the hotel for a transfer to the airport. End of our services.
